About the role


As the Group Executive Assistant, you will provide support to the Editor for The Advertiser and the Group Sales Director for Agency and Key Accounts, as well as provide administrative support to the Sales Team SA.

This is an exciting new role in a fast paced and dynamic environment.


Role responsibilities

  • Diary management, scheduling appointments, venue booking
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and anticipating business needs
  • Undertake and manage projects and programs of work, creating agendas, taking minutes and following up on action points
  • Travel bookings and expense reconciliation
  • Hospitality and event coordination
  • Coordinating the corporate box including bookings and invoice payments
  • Processing invoices and credit card statements
  • Receive telephone calls, delegate, action or escalate as appropriate
  • Arranging catering for meetings and functions
  • Order and maintain appropriate levels of stationery and beverages for the office

About you

  • You hold experience in a similar role
  • You will have a proactive approach to problemsolving with strong decisionmaking, seeking out opportunities and proposing solutions
  • You will be able to work to tight deadlines, juggle multiple priorities and thrive working in a busy and collaborative office
  • You have a friendly demeanour, a good sense of humour and the ability to keep a level head during busy periods
