    About the role

    This full-time permanent Revenue Program Coordinator position is located within the Finance Branch. A close-knit bunch, our large branch is a nice mix of personalities and skills. We're professional, but also have a 'ministry of fun' team that ensures we all enjoy our environment.

    The Revenue Program is responsible for generating and distributing rates notices, maintaining the rates database, rates customer service activities, property searches and debt recovery. The Revenue Program Coordinator plays a fundamental part in the success of the program, coordinating the 3 teams within the program, providing clear direction and guidance to the team leaders, working in close collaboration with the Principal Revenue Advisor to implement improvements and keeping the Program Leader abreast of the progress.

    This role requires a leader with:

  • Strong analytical aptitude within a financial environment, along with the ability to make sound judgement calls, interpret government legislation and problem solve to a high standard
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate general business operations to allow the Program Leader to focus on the strategic direction
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver clear concise messaging to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Well developed people skills, understanding the value to staff mentoring, training and development to upskill the workforce

    • Minimum requirements of the role include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accountancy, Commerce, Finance Management or equivalent experience is highly desirable
  • Well-developed leadership and political acumen
  • Demonstrated experience in the coordination and administration of automated finance related systems
  • Highly developed conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to provide a satisfactory result for a National Police History Check
