Maxima's Recruitment Services are seeking a Revenue Program Coordinator for a position with their Local Government client.

This is a temporary assignment working full-time hours through to 7 September 2024, with the possibility of extension.

About the Role

Working within the finance branch, this will be a leadership role working alongside the Program Leader and Principal Revenue Advisor.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Coordinating the Revenue Team operation to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate revenue services through rates, property searches and recoveries
Providing operational leadership across the teams within the revenue program
Proactively identifying team training and development needs, gaps and opportunities
Allocating work to achieve an equitable and meaningful distribution of tasks
Delivering expert technical advice to all levels of Council on revenue services related matters
Coordinate tenders for applicable supplier contracts, as required
Coordinating and managing processes across the Program, including business critical processes such as the quarterly rates and charges process run in conjunction with Logan Water and Council's suppliers.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Accountancy, Commerce or Finance Management or equivalent experience
Extensive leadership skills
Demonstrated experience in interpreting relevant legislation
Demonstrated experience in the coordination and administration of automated finance related systems.
