    Job Expectations

    An exciting opportunity has presented itself at nbn as a Threat Detection Manager reporting to the Senior Manager CSOC.

    A bit about your role

    The Threat Detection Manager will play a pivotal leadership role in nbn 's Cybersecurity Practice. You will role oversees the delivery of efficient and effective operation of nbn 's SIEM. This will include upstream and downstream system health with a focus on constant improvement.

    This role will be an opportunity for you to drive technical leadership and serve as a Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders. You will mentor and coach Cyber Analysts and SIEM Engineers to develop talent, enhance engagement and build effective teams.

    A bit about you

    The successful candidate will bring hands on Engineering experience and the ability lead an operations team within a Security Operations Centre or similar environment. You have deep knowledge of Cyber incidents, threat detection, change and innovation.

    As a technical leader, you will exhibit robust influencing, communication, and critical thinking abilities. You will approach decision-making with confidence particularly in high-pressure situations and have the ability to implement system efficiency improvement capabilities.
