    About Our Client

    Our client is based within professional services.

    Job Description

    As the Network Engineer you will be responsible for:

    • Provide support for the enterprise LAN / WAN and Public cloud networking environments.
    • Administer and maintain Cisco and Meraki devices including routers, switches Firewalls and access points.
    • Implement and maintain network security measures and platforms, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), access control lists (ACLs) and Identity management platforms.
    • Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and other routing protocols as necessary.
    • Manage and maintain Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), ExpressRoute, and VPN gateways.
    • Perform regular firmware upgrades, patch management, and security audits on network equipment.

    The Successful Applicant

    The successful applicant will ideally possess the following:

    • Hands on ability to implement, support and troubleshoot network and security devices & systems.
    • Proven experience with Cisco / Meraki networking products.
    • Experience across a variety of security products and services including Cisco Firepower, Cisco ISE, wireless and cloud security.
    • Provide Level 2/3 network services support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
    • Experience with Azure networking and cloud security products.
    • Experience with network monitoring and management tools.
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills and demonstrable customer service skills.
    • Strong understanding of the ITIL framework.
    • Industry qualifications (CCNA/CCNP).

    What's on Offer
