At Aveo Lindfield Gardens, we have a unique opportunity for a dual Administration Assistant and Events Coordinator position, on a permanent full-time basis As a passionate people person, you will work three days a week to collaboratively coordinate events and activities for the amazing residents.

For the remaining two, you'll be the "First Point of Contact" for the residents and work closely with the Community Manager and various internal and external stakeholders to help ensure the smooth running of the community.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is fun, friendly, organised and looking to make a connection with the residents.

This role is a full-time Monday-Friday 9-5pm role.

What your Monday-Wednesday looks like:


  • You will be coordinating fun, inclusive and exciting events to our residents on a regular schedule
  • Deliver an activities program that promotes learning new hobbies and enabling social connections
  • Create weekly schedules for all new events and distribute newsletters highlighting upcoming events
  • Be the welcoming face to all new residents in the community by ensuring they are engaged and supported in their transition to our community.

What your Thursday & Friday will look like:

  • Provide general administrative support including greeting residents, visitors and prospective residents during sales appointments
  • Liaising with contractors, maintenance personnel, nursing staff and ensuring resident queries are dealt with promptly
  • Updating notices and communication to all staff
  • Provide a caring, safe and inspiring environment that supports our residents in living their lives to the fullest through the latter stage of their ageing journey
  • Complete general adhoc duties delegated to you by the Community Manager and provide vital support to them in their absence

About you:


  • Experience in an Administration or Receptionist position (essential)
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (essential)
  • Possesses a high level of communication and organisation skills.
  • Experience in a customerfacing environment (such as Retirement Villages, Tourism, Corporate Office or Hospitality)
  • Someone who is FUN and EXCITING
  • Current Police Check certificate (required, but we can complete for you)
  • Minimum Three (3) COVID19 Vaccinations
