Aveo Rochedale is seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Handyperson to join our community on a permanent, full-time basis.

As a passionate and friendly person, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and gardening tasks around our Village.

Working closely with staff & residents, you will ensure our community spaces are well-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy.

This role would suit a person with general 'handy' or gardening skills or would suit a person who is willing to learn such skills

About the role:

Permanent fulltime position, Monday to Friday

No weekends:

Provide support to the Maintenance and Gardens Supervisor to ensure requests are completed in a timely manner
Maintain gardens and grounds throughout the village
Ensure all community spaces are free of rubbish, debris and are safe for our community
Provide minor maintenance tasks for residents (e.g change of light globes or changing washers etc.)
Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with wellmaintained outdoor areas.

Ideally, you'll have:

General 'Handy' and Gardening skills (desired)
Police Check Certificate (required, but we can complete for you for free)
Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple stakeholders and requests
Be a friendly and approachable to the residents in the community
