About the Role:

KB Seafood Co are excited to be opening our new Seafood Processing facility in Morningside, and we are looking for experienced Forklift Operators to join us.

This is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor as we commence our full-time operations in Morningside.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and packing goods for orders
Goods receival/put aways
Moving and rotating stock
Stores and Warehousing
Forklift Operations including High Reach
Traffic Management
Manual Handling
Loading and unloading truck
Checking / cycle count
Assisting with other warehouse operations as required

To be suitable for this role you must be able to demonstrate:

A strong work ethic
Accurate picking skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work well in a team environment in cold temperatures
Good Communication Skills
Sound understanding of all WH&S Protocols
Computer Skills including experience with releasing orders

Essential Requirements:

Full Australian work rights
2 Years' experience in a similar inventory role
Be able to work in a cold storage (freezer and chiller) environment
Current Forklift Licence
QLD drivers' license & reliable transport
Experience in food industry, especially Seafood, highly regarded

Previous experience working in cold storage (freezer and chiller) environment will be highly regarded.

Successful applicants will need to provide a minimum of 2 current references, a current Police Clearance Certificate, and attend a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol testing.
