About the Role:

Provide leadership and support for our warehouse and distribution operations at Coolaroo, for frozen and chilled products. The main areas of responsibility are people leadership, oversight of day-to-day operations, and strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead, inspire and build a high performing team with a handson approach.
  • Take full accountability for productivity of all warehousing operations, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Responsible for OH&S and other compliance policies and ensure a safe and efficient operation through handson participation.
  • Manage regular stock takes, cycle counts and keep stock discrepancies to minimum.
  • Engage with freight and distribution partners and drive improvement for agreed KPIs and efficiencies.
  • Oversee internal sales order processing to ensure cooperative efficient integration between customer service levels and warehousing and distribution operators.
  • To minimise picking errors, stock discrepancies by providing adequate training and processes.
  • Timely unloading of containers, put away and receipt of stock in SAP.
  • To manage pallet hire/dehire process efficiently i.e., clear audit policy, docket processing compliance etc.

About You:


  • You will be an experienced Warehouse Manager, or a highly experienced Warehouse Supervisor looking for your next step, who has a proven track record of Warehouse operations, preferably within a FMCG and Freezer/Cold storage environment. You will have a proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at once and efficiently change focus when required to meet the business' needs.

You will have:


  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Proven track record of identifying and improving business efficiency.
  • A handson approach to work and lead by example
  • The ability to engage with stakeholders and the management team.
  • Previous experience working in cold storage (freezer and chiller) environment will be highly regarded.
