  • Attractive hourly rates + penalty rates on overtime
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Monday to Friday roster

    • Based out of the Coates Belmont branch, Field Service Mechanics take responsibility for repair of Coates hire equipment and machinery on customer sites. Duties include:

  • Safe, effective and efficient preventative maintenance, service and overhaul as required.
  • Deliver a level of trust and commitment to our customers that Coates is the right supplier for the project.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across a variety of equipment – earthmoving, generators, forklifts, telehandlers, light towers and access equipment.
  • Ensure stock levels of spare parts are available to undertake any repair on site.

  • Relevant Trade qualifications
  • Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills
  • Driver's licence (preferably MR or HR)
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
