Job Description:

As a Maintenance Technician based in Perth Airport, you will provide service, repairs and improvements for robotic laboratory and sample preparation equipment.

Other responsibilities will be:

Undertake breakdown and scheduled repairs to automated and manual equipment
Troubleshoot problems and work together with laboratory staff to achieve long term solutions
Analyze and identify areas of improvement in the plant and equipment and implement the changes
Undertake projects to improve the process and reliability of automated systems
Integrate and implement preventative maintenance schedules to equipment and refine as required
Document and analyse all work to improve workplace efficiency

Qualifications:

A qualified mechanical fitter with experience in production line/factory process control systems
Have previous experience with control systems in an industrial environment
Must have a good understanding of electromechanical and automated equipment
Have strong computer skills and experience in MS Excel
