Northpark Private Hospital is seeking to appoint an Executive Assistant to join their dynamic and professional team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with excellent customer service skills to step into a rewarding career.


As an Executive Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide administrative support in the following areas:
  • Secretarial assistance to the Executive Team
  • Reception and patient enquiry duties
  • Perform data collection, reporting and billing tasks
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas and minutes
  • Manage diary appointments, travel and meeting bookings for appointed executives
  • Conduct HR administration tasks including employee contracts, visa coordination and employee on boarding
  • Maintain HR file management and upkeep
  • Act as Payroll Coordinator for the hospital, including managing payroll enquiries, timesheet preparation and payslip distribution


Northpark Private Hospital is a 130 bed private hospital in Melbourne's North, offering a wide range of surgical, medical, maternity and mental health care, including also an Early Parenting Unit.

We are also embarking on our exciting new Expansion Project to be completed over two stages - End 2023 and 2024.


Work has commenced on the major expansion of both the Northpark and LaTrobe Private sites to ensure we meet the growing demand for quality health care across Melbourne's Northwest.


At Northpark Private Hospital, we have:

  • Expansion of our established Mental health wards by 22 beds including a 10 bed older person's unit
  • Growth of support areas for Mental health expansion ie group spaces, meeting rooms, interview spaces, a gymnasium and patient support areas

Essential Criteria:


  • Administration experience in a Hospital/Healthcare environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work within a busy team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts early/late shifts & weekend work
