About the Role
To provide face to face and phone triage support to people seeking wrap around services at the Access Gateway.

This role is designed to link community members with appropriate information, advise or referral services and occasionally help to facilitate group engagement sessions.

The function incudes managing venue hire requests and occasional supervision of receptionist trainees.

Other responsibilities will include:

Provide a highquality customer service to clients, community members and venue hirers accessing the Gateway Hub. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Completing initial screening with clients and link with necessary internal and external support options
Use initiative and problem solving skills to address any issues which arise or to suggest/make improvements to the Gateway. General restocking, tidying and managing donations area
Compiling monthly/quarterly reports and provide to manager for review
Update internal databases and spreadsheets promptly

Essential Criteria:

Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Case Management or Community Services is desirable.
Proven ability to coordinate scheduling of a highly contingent workforce with complex and changing client requirements
Knowledge in data entry that allows efficient and centralized information management with accuracy and integrity
Experienced problem solver who uses initiative to drive improvement
Initiative and ability to contribute significantly to the development and review of operational procedures

Desirable Criteria:

Tertiary or other qualifications within community services, human services or similar discipline
Prior experience working with vulnerable families and communities
Ability to engage with people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated experience working as part of a team and independently
Interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate and consult with internal and external stakeholders
