Reporting to the Financial Controller we are looking for a part time Financial Accountant to support the Liberty Bell Bay business. This is your chance for you to bring your proven finance experience and help the business drive cost-effective expenditure that maximises value for the company.

Responsibilities include:

Drive process efficiency to ensure compliance and related governance

Adhering to a financial reporting timetable and working with the finance team in ensuring deliverables are met

Performing month-end tasks, reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigating variances

Prepare reports, reconciliations and supporting schedules for external audit team and for Group purposes

Process and reconciling intercompany transactions

Oversee the accounts receivables, tax, freight equalisation, fixed asset and cash management process on site

Prepare weekly cashflow forecast

Adhoc accounting tasks and reporting

Ensure compliance with Liberty Bell Bay accounting policies and procedures.

As the Financial Accountant, you will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts and reports. You are someone who has strong analytical and complex problem-solving skills who can translate significant financial data into concise, meaningful and actionable information for non-finance personnel. Being resourceful and having strong communications skills is a must to be able to work effectively in a cross functional team at all levels of the organisation.

Skills and qualifications required:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting

Accounting profession accreditation is an advantage

SAP experience would be beneficial but not essential

Post qualification experience within a large/complex environment ideal

Strong communication skills, relationship-building and ability to influence

Strong governance and process mindset to foster financial performance and maintain policies

Strong financial and business acumen.
