    Your Role
    Partnering with the Finance business, you will be responsible for product management reporting and providing financial advice and insights to the Commercial and Consumer Lines of business within A&NZ and to stakeholders in the Regional Office. This includes reviewing of profit and loss, coordinating the forecasting and annual planning process, performing month-end close and preparing the monthly reporting pack.

    Your Responsibilities
    • Assist with the annual planning process.
    • Coordinate the forecasting process including responses used for regional reporting across all divisions, while ensuring deadlines are being achieved.
    • Effectively assist Division Heads and Product Line Managers in managing P&Ls
    • Prepare, review and analyse monthly operating results including variances.
    • Review and provide financial commentaries including production and acquisition cost movements.
    • Support the BI and Planning Manager with the annual 5-year strategic plan.
    • Coordinate a month-end close with stakeholders and Operations.
    • Review and allocate Treaty Reinsurance costs.
    • Support the Business Intelligence & Planning Manager and Senior Financial Analyst in updating and maintaining TM1.
    • Coordinate and prepare monthly and quarterly reporting requirements within deadlines.
    • Production metrics monitoring and reporting.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues at all levels.
      Qualifications

      Your Skills & Experience
      • Degree in Accounting, Finance and/or other related business degree
      • CPA/CA qualified or equivalent
      • 5+ years relevant practical working experience- prior experience in insurance- desirable
      • Effective communication skills and confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders
      • Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
      • Ability to communicate and influence internal colleagues
      • Strong knowledge of financial systems including MS word, PowerPoint, Excel, Qlik, TM1, PCW and PeopleSoft
