Our Journey

Tower - Casey Hospital


Tower 3 is a 32 bed ward, with 27 General Medicine beds, 5 dedicated Palliative care beds, and capacity to have 4 telemetry patients on the ward.

Our patient cohort is many and varied, covering all areas of general medicine.

We pride ourselves on our teamwork, and our ability to support each other through the many challenges presented to us.


A day in the life of an Associate Nurse Manager - Tower Ward 3, Casey
We guarantee that no two days will be the same.


You'll enjoy the variety and challenge that comes from working with skilled senior staff and clinical mentors, while being supported by the leadership team across the program and across our large, complex health service.


Your work will include:

  • Providing safe and complex patient centred care and support to our patients and their families.
  • Supporting your nursing colleagues and working within our team led model
  • Role modelling and demonstrating positivity within the unit and providing education for junior staff and students as required.
  • Participating in quality improvement across the program to support best practice.

We work across a 24/7 day rotating roster - all shifts including night duty, to support our employees' work-life balance.


What you bring:


You are currently an Associate Nurse Manager or have some experience or aspiration to take the next step into a leadership role.

You will have a positive attitude and genuinely enjoy working with likeminded co-workers.

You share a passion for nursing through demonstrating your skill and knowledge with your patients, supporting them through their inpatient journey in providing safe patient and family centred care.

Along with this, you have proven experience working in an acute setting and general medicine experience and post graduate studies would be highly regarded.
