    About the role

Salary range:
$125,964-$147,264 plus statutory superannuation

This role will require you to:

  • Manage the operations of the TER branch and lead teams to deliver the VIT's teacher engagement and registration functions through motivating staff, managing performance and providing capability development.
  • Engage with duty holders (teachers, early childhood teachers and employers of teachers) to inform and educate them about registering and maintaining teacher registration and identify and respond to stakeholder needs.
  • Monitor and review registration policy and processes proactively identify opportunities and risks, and promote continuous improvement of processes and practices.

As an experienced leader, you will have sound and practical knowledge of contemporary risk-based regulatory practices and operations management.

You will be able to lead and motivate a team toward operational goals and have a strong understanding change management.

You will have experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders, and ideally a passion for child safety.
