Salary range:
$89,004-$100,984 plus statutory super

In the role, you will ensure that VIT leverages data and intelligence effectively to support its risk-based regulatory activity.

Your input will become key to decision making and informing the organisation and wider stakeholders on historical and emerging trends in teacher registration.

The Intelligence, Analysis and Reporting Project Officer role offers an outstanding career opportunity for a professional who is passionate about using their expertise to support VIT in its regulation of Victorian teachers.


About you
As an experienced data analyst, you will have sound and practical knowledge of statistical analysis and data management.

You will have experience in data representation and visualisation through business intelligence tools, and ideally a passion for child safety and experience working with the education sector.

About the role
Be part of a forward-thinking, risk-based regulator where ideas and opinions are valued. This role will require you to
- develop and deliver strategic, business and operational reports across VIT that provides stakeholders with relevant, timely and accurate information to inform decision making.
- implement frameworks and controls to ensure that personal and sensitive data is protected.
- develop a range of data collection tools and reporting mechanisms to accurately capture and report on information and data from a range of internal and external sources.
- contribute to the maintenance of data quality and integrity across VIT's business systems by identifying and resolving issues and errors
- build collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders regarding data business requirements and provide technical advice to all areas of the business as required.
- contribute as a member of the Business Systems team to supporting VIT's technology platforms and systems.
- undertake other duties as directed by the Business Systems Manager or Director, Shared Services.
