Our client, a national company who is based south of the river are leaders in manufacturing and servicing which supply to the mining and resources sector.

They are now seeking an experienced Mobilisation Coordinator to manage labour resources who would be available to commence immediately on an ongoing basis.

The Role:

You will play a key role with the scheduling and on boarding of predominately mechanical trades and labour for a variety of different shutdown and breakdown projects.

You will be working with Project Managers to ensure there is adequate labour resources on jobs and delving into individual teams to identify competency issues.

You will be responsible for booking flights, accommodation and vehicles for site contractors and working through any site access issues related to inductions etc.

About You:

Previous experience with scheduling trades or bluecollar workers ideally within Iron Ore mining
A knowledge of BHP, Roy Hill or FMG mobilisation and on boarding would be highly regarded
Proficient with MS Excel
Must be open to working outside of the normal spread of working hours to "put out fires" if / when they occur (oncall allowance payable)
Able to pass a preemployment medical and drug / alcohol screen

You will be working in a friendly and professional team of 3 other Mobilisation Coordinators who are able to assist with any technical issues.

Hourly rate will be negotiable around $40.00 per hour + super for a 40-hour week, based in Henderson. There is adequate site parking.
