    Our client is a leading Australian alternative investment management firm with expertise in private credit and specialty property equity strategies. They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to further propel their fund's distribution / sales function and raise Australian domiciled capital from HNWI, Family Offices and institutions.

    They are a fully integrated funds management platform offering funding and partnership opportunities across Fixed Income and Property with a 7-year audited track record and strong performance.

    Job summary

    Great opportunity for an experienced wholesale BDM to join a leading Australian alternative investment management firm as their Head of Distribution. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of business development and sales within the wholesale market, and the ability and relationships to take ownership and further its distribution and client management requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Raise Australian domiciled capital from HNWI, Family Offices, and institutions
    • The successful candidate will grow the Australian investor base both in Sydney and inter-state.
    • The successful candidate will travel extensively to meet with HNW investors, financial planners, wealth managers, family offices, and institutions.
    • Marketing collateral preparation and investor reporting input.
    • Support the development & articulation of strategic planning relating to growing investor database and translate this strategy into actionable items.

    Experience and Capability

    • Senior level experience in wholesale funds distribution.
    • Specific experience in funds management, fixed income, private debt, property finance, and property equity is preferred but not required.
    • Investor relations and investor management.
