About the Role


We're looking for an organised, experienced and diplomatic communications professional with a positive attitude to partner with the business, as part of the Strategic Communications team working in an agency style.

Like all good agencies, we have a strong customer service mindset and stakeholder management is key.


You will be responsible for leading the delivery of integrated communications plans for your division and will act as the front door into the broader Brand, Digital and Communications team.


Your focus will be keeping communications on track throughout the year and to minimise "scope creep", while being flexible enough to adapt the agreed plans to suit the inevitable changing needs.

You'll meet with your business unit regularly to report on progress, challenges and opportunities.


You will need to be an excellent communicator who is confident in all areas of marketing and communications and able to help find solutions that meet the needs of sometimes competing agendas.

You'll establish strong and collaborative relationships with both the Brand, Digital and Communications team and the Business Units you support.

You will review and measure your communications campaigns with a view to improving outcomes for your Business Units.


Your team will provide ongoing internal communications support for our leaders and you will become an integral part of the Divisional teams.

Your team will support the Deputy Secretary in their internal communications and be on hand to help guide and advise them in all things employee engagement related.


As a team player you'll be helping the Department of Customer Service Business Units gain a broader understanding of the communications support available to them and contribute towards a strong and positive reputation for the Brand, Digital and Communications team while helping bring to life the Department of Customer Service Strategy.


How to Apply
Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $134,411 base plus superannuation
