About the role


In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for supporting business and financial operations across the Division and educating and supporting stakeholders to develop financial capability and improve accountability in financial business decision-making.

You will be adept at balancing a range of conflicting priorities in a high workload and dynamic environment to ensure efficient and effective service delivery to achieve business outcomes.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide advice relating to policies, procedures and systems to enable effective and timely reconciliations
  • Provide support and respond to enquiries to ensure the provision of accurate information and quality service delivery
  • Provide back office support functions to front line staff in areas of customer payment queries, chargebacks, agency payments and investigate refund requests
  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Division and Branch to gain support for the implementation of financerelated business reforms
  • Contribute to process improvement strategies to address identified inefficiencies and ensure required processes are established to meet changing needs

About you
The successful applicant is a well-respected professional with proven experience in a similar setting.

You can demonstrate systems and associated accounting experiencing, with specialisation in reconciliation, reporting, and their financial impact on business activities.

Adept at working in a high-volume environment, you also possess stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence and advise business leaders and stakeholders.

Above all, you will be highly organised and thrive on process improvement both within the team and across the department.
