    Description

    Job Description:

    As the largest manufacturer of pharmaceutical products in Australia, our client is involved in various capital projects at their manufacturing facility.

    As an E&I Project Engineer, your main responsibilities include planning project activities, overseeing design teams, and supporting the E&I work packages under the guidance of the discipline lead and project manager.

    The E&I work packages cover a wide range of systems including electrical distribution, lighting, security, instrumentation, Process Monitoring and Control System (PMCS), and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).




    Key Responsibilities:
    • Participate in all aspects of electrical and instrument systems in a project environment
    • Select electrical equipment and supporting infrastructure
    • Write specifications for E&I components
    • Manage design teams and consultants
    • Collaborate with automation engineers
    • Review drawings and reports
    • Co-ordinate with project team members
    • Develop relationships with stakeholders
    • Support plant shutdown activities



    Required Experiences:
    • Tertiary qualification(s) in Electrical Engineering
    • 3 to 5 years experience in electrical and instrumentation
    • Knowledge of automation systems, especially Siemens PCS 7
    • Experience in industrial communication protocols
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Commitment to safety and environment
    • Experience in troubleshooting and process engineering
    • Understanding of client requirements



    Desired Experiences:
    • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements
    • Designing Automation networks
    • Commissioning network infrastructure
    • Understanding of safety and risk assessments
    • Project Engineering Experience
