    About the role

    We are currently seeking a Project Engineer to join us on the Eastern Freeway – Burke to Tram Alliance. This is an opportunity to build trusted relationships with community members and stakeholders such as our Eastern BTA leadership team and wider program teams.

    Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and administer construction engineering activities to ensure that project plans are implemented in accordance with designs and specifications
  • Interpret designs for implementation in construction projects, review and make recommendations for improvements
  • Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports
  • Monitor construction progress for the area of work against the programme and budget
  • Support the procurement process for contractors with the Commercial / Procurement team
  • About you

  • Tertiary qualification within an engineering discipline or equivalent coupled with experience in delivering large-scale civil, rail, and/or buildings projects with top-tier constructors
  • Experience managing contractor models and/or delivering large-scale projects
  • A sound understanding of general Australian standards and how they are implemented on construction projects
