About the Opportunity:


Qenos is seeking an efficient Bulk Loading Assistant to join our Altona team immediately on a Fixed term 6-month basis.


Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, this exciting opportunity is to assist a team of 3 in managing the Bulk Loading area and warehouse, loading finished PE product into 20-tonne containers, in addition to assisting in other manual labour and ad hoc duties.


The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Loading of trucks polyethylene resins;
  • Forklift operation and warehouse management;
  • Working with shift personnel and drivers to prioritise truck movements;
  • Simple laboratory testing when required;
  • Assisting shift operating personnel with process tasks when required;
  • Preparation of equipment for maintenance; and
  • Preparation and issue of work permits.

About You:


First and foremost you will have a strong safety focus and awareness, a "can do" attitude, and outstanding communication skills.

  • Experience within shift operations, laboratory, or maintenance role;
  • Experience in a forklift operation role;
  • Experience in a manual handling role;
  • Ability to work efficiently with an eye for detail;
  • Experience in a team environment and an ability to work cooperatively with others;
  • Must be adaptable; and
  • Have good problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
  • Please Note: Shifts for this role are based on a 12hour dayshift repeating roster over 3 weeks, including 1 out of 3 weekend shifts. No night shifts._
