The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) provides an independent, efficient, fair and just prosecution services for the people of NSW.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Information Records Officer with a sound understanding of records management practices and the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the ODPP records management standards.
In this role, you will:
- Assist with the daily distribution and receipt of internal and external mail, ensuring items are dispatched by the most effective and economical means and the correct recipient receives the mail items promptly.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure prompt retrieval and management of ODPP records requested by internal staff, including tracking file movements using ODPP operational systems.
- Filing completed matters in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist with archiving physical and electronic information & records in accordance with ODPP Standard Operating Procedures.
We are looking for self-motivated individual with relevant information and records management experience; and excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
A Talent Pool may also be created for future ongoing and temporary positions that may arise over the next 18 months.

- Outline your experience in performing Information and Records Management activities, including receiving and actioning customer enquiries, office mail functions, the transfer of records and archiving of records.
