WHS Advisor (L&D) Role:

Ongoing Full Time located in Parramatta + Flex/Hybrid work model:


  • Salary ranges from $101,947 to $112,849 + super
Our NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) team is currently seeking to appoint
a WHS Advisor (L&D). This role provides high quality WH&S training programs across the agency.

A day in the life of a WHS Advisor (L&D) may involve:

  • Designing, developing and delivering strategic WH&S training programs (online and face-to-face)
  • Evaluating and reporting on the effectiveness of L&D programs and services
  • Collaborating with managers and staff to identify needs and requirements, capability and skill gaps across the agency
  • Developing and maintaining a user centric system and quick reference guides and instructional videos where applicable.

Key Knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in WH&S and an understanding of current legislation and policy.

Essential requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability to obtain the certificate
  • Current driver license and ability and willingness to travel
  • May involve travel both locally and regionally, including overnight travel, as required by the business and/or directed.

Future Directions for Social Housing in NSW (Future Directions) sets out the Government's vision to transform the social housing system over the next 10 years with LAHC playing a critical role in delivering the benefits of this new and innovative model for social housing.

A key feature is the Communities Plus program, which is designed to fast-track the redevelopment of LAHC's social housing portfolio in partnership with the private and community housing sector to deliver significant new and replacement social housing dwellings that are integrated with affordable private dwellings.
