  • Salary ranges from $89,707 to $98,982 + super

Our NSW Land and Housing Corporation (LAHC) team is currently seeking to appoint two
Programs Officers within the Portfolio Management Assets team.
One of our roles is based primarily out of our Parramatta office and the other is based out our Coniston office. An element of flexibility is required in this role as you may be required, from time to time, to assist teams across our South East Region which spans from Wagga Wagga to Strawberry Hills.

These roles are in an interesting and challenging working environment and provide an opportunity to join our hard working, supportive team environments

The successful applicants will support the local administration and delivery of LAHC's maintenance contract, primarily through the preparation of office estimates and contributing to the development of the Quarterly Program of Works.

They will also issue value for money maintenance orders, improve the performance of the property portfolio with a tenant focused service delivery, co-ordination and delivery of responsive, planned & capital maintenance programs including vacant properties, disabled modification, lawn & grounds cleaning and building essential services providing efficient and effective professional services in delivery of our large maintenance contract.

About You
Do you have a maintenance background or trades exposure and are looking to sink your teeth into a different role whilst utilising your current skillset? Are you able to shine in both a team environment and working autonomously? Are you comfortable using IT systems including Microsoft Office suite?

If you answered yes to the above questions then this could be your next role

Both teams are small, yet very busy and hard working and we are looking for someone who is able to step into the role and hit the ground running with our support.

As mentioned above, there is an element of flexibility in this role in terms of travelling for work and we are seeking applicants who understand there may be times where you will need to assist teams based out of other offices in our South East Region.

To be successful you will possess sound building experience or exposure coupled with experienced in contract administration including the preparation of quotes and estimates.

You will also have a knowledge of contract requirements and the capacity to interpret contracts in conjunction with standards and policies.

These skills will also be supported with a current working knowledge of the Australian Building Codes.

Essential Requirements

  • Post trade Certificate IV or equivalent qualifications or sound work experience in a property related field; and
  • Current Driver's License.
