    Job Title: Civil Estimator - Shaping the Future of Greener Energy


    Permanent Role

    Location: Brisbane

    Work From Home: Two days per week

With a strong commitment to innovation and environmental stewardship, they are seeking a dedicated Civil Estimator to join their team in Brisbane, playing a vital role in paving the way towards a brighter, cleaner future.

    Position Overview:


    We are looking for a driven and experienced Civil Estimator who shares our client's enthusiasm for sustainable energy solutions. In this position, you will play a key role in estimating and overseeing civil construction projects that promote the growth of energy infrastructure, especially in the renewables sector.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Utilize your expertise to accurately estimate the costs of civil construction projects, covering site preparation, bulk earthworks, foundations, and infrastructure development.
    • Collaborate closely with project stakeholders to understand project needs, creating detailed cost estimates that align with budgetary constraints and sustainability goals.
    • Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents thoroughly to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and new technologies in renewable energy and civil construction, incorporating insights to improve estimation processes and project results.
    • Work closely with diverse teams, including engineers, project managers, and procurement specialists, to ensure smooth coordination and timely delivery of project estimates.
    • Create cost estimation spreadsheets for labor and materials, meeting tender requirements.
    • Prepare tenders and proposals, providing valuable input for supply and subcontract agreements.
    • Evaluate contract performance to suggest more efficient options for project implementation.

    About You:


    Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

    Proven track record as a Civil Estimator, with at least 5 years of experience in Estimating.

    Solid background in bulk earthworks estimation and management.

    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
