About Them:

ACRWORLD are excited to be working exclusively with a leading civil construction company who have been operating for over two decades.

Specialising across large civil construction projects, this business is looking for a superstar HSEQ Advisor for their upcoming project in Newcastle NSW.

The Role:

With a large project upcoming in Newcastle location which has estimated to take around 18-24 months, this established powerhouse ideally need someone to consult and communicate any core issues with the ability to transfer these to various forms of written documentation.

Seeking a seasoned safety professional with the following._
A background in earthworks OR crane/lifting industry is highly desirable
3 years employment as dedicated (full time) Safety Advisor in construction industry
Tertiary health and safety qualifications (Cert IV or above)
Tertiary environmental qualifications (beneficial only)
Training and assessment qualifications (beneficial only)
Auditing qualifications (beneficial only) or knowledge/experience
Experience working directly or indirectly for a tier one Principal Contractor
Basic to Intermediate computer skills (word/excel/outlook)
Experience/knowledge in injury management and rehabilitation processes
Sound communication skills (across management, clients and frontline workers)
Ability to develop and deliver project specific and industry targeted inductions
Capability to manipulate cloud based HSEQ software
Incident investigation, reporting and root cause analysis skills
Ability to manage change in circumstances including plant, personnel, process etc
Ability to follow up and close out outstanding actions
Confidence and ability to deliver/participate in prestart and toolbox meetings with small workgroups
