    About the role

    WorkPac is looking for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our client's team in Nathan, Brisbane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing traffic processes, design schemes, and supporting civil projects. Utilize your expertise in compliance and project management to ensure the safety and efficiency of roadways. Be part of our team and have a significant impact on transportation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and update project management documentation such as quality, safety, environmental, and traffic management plans
    • Support project procurement activities and conduct site inductions for Responsive Maintenance Contract (RMC) staff and subcontractors
    • Review subcontractor project management documentation
    • Conduct internal audits and inspections of RMC project quality assurance, safety, and environmental plans to maintain RoadTek certification standards
    • Assist in coordinating RMC delivered minor works projects
    • Update RMC Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGSs) and assist in developing site-specific TGS
    • Regularly review RMC policies, works procedures, and technical specifications to ensure compliance with RoadTek and TMR standards
    • Maintain RMC Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) standards

    Skills and experience required

    • Construction White Card
    • Valid Queensland "C" class drivers license or equivalent
    • Traffic Management Design (TMD) qualifications or ability to obtain
    • Ability to work shift work if necessary
    • Traffic Management Implementation (TMI) qualification with minimum 2 years experience
    • Project administration experience
    • Experience in designing and implementing Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS) and Traffic Management Plans (TMP)
    • Familiarity with relevant traffic management guidelines and technical specifications
    • Qualifications or experience in Internal Auditing and/or Certificate IV Workplace Health and Safety
