- Translate Veeva's objectives into fully integrated marketing strategies and campaigns for key regions, product lines, and customer segments to support quarterly and annual goals
- Establish, motivate, and guide a large marketing team that acts as a strategic partner to its stakeholders and meets its objectives.
- Lead the team with a growth and team-oriented approach, defining roles, career paths, succession plans, and strategies for employee success
- Hire and coach Marketing leaders for efficiency (e.g., best practices, standardization) and effectiveness (e.g., market and regional fit programs)
- Create and drive local marketing models to ensure Veeva's strong presence in new markets within the Asia region
- Ensure scalability through successful cross-collaboration and leverage through shared services as deemed necessary
- Minimum of 7 years leading a major marketing function in Asia in hyper-growth B2 B software, particularly in a high ASP, low churn model
- Over 10 years of Enterprise Software marketing experience - Managing the full marketing mix, not solely demand gen
- In-depth on-the-ground experience in North Asia tech markets (Japan, Korea, or China)
- Headed the Asia marketing function for a U.S. Tech company, with extensive experience in Japan, Korea, or China
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written), with at least 4 years of university or professional experience in an English-speaking country
- Experience across marketing disciplines and enterprise selling in Asia, comprising ABM, communications, demand generation, events, and product marketing
- Proven track record of recruiting, mentoring, and retaining exceptional marketing talent
- Demonstrated communications expertise with exceptional verbal communication skills and a clear, persuasive writing style
- Excellent operational and project management skills, including handling diverse projects and multiple priorities under tight timelines and expectations
- Ability to organize, stay productive, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and make an immediate impact in a high-growth, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- Creative, flexible, hands-on marketer comfortable with taking necessary actions to achieve goals despite constraints
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of effective cross-functional collaboration
- Solid budget management and marketing measurement skills, preferably with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets
- Bachelor's Degree required

The Role
We are seeking an outstanding leader to steer marketing for Veeva's expanding Asia business.
The VP Marketing functions as the CMO for the Asia region, overseeing the complete marketing mix, and a vital member of Asia's leadership team.
This role contributes to regional growth, capitalizing on the company's strength in current markets and establishing Veeva as a frontrunner in new markets.
We are seeking a proven marketing leader who is customer-centric, adept at team building and coaching, excelling in long-term integrated marketing planning and execution across the entire marketing mix.
You will head an exceptional Asia marketing team, requiring experience in recruiting, mentoring, and retaining top talent, and steering high-performing teams.
