    The Role

    Are you looking for an opportunity to work in Human Resources for one of Australia's leading law firms? We are looking for a People and Development Coordinator to join our team on a permanent basis based in Sydney. In this role you will support and work closely with the wellbeing, safety, people experience, D&I and reward teams.

    This role will be an integral part of the People & Development team, who provide support to employees and Partners of the firm.

    We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated professional with skills and experience in administration. You will be articulate and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills and be a positive, proactive team player. You will receive great support from a team of HR professionals who are engaged and invested in developing early career professionals.

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Assist in coordinating Mental & Physical Health programs, campaigns and training initiatives, including tender and award submissions, as well as mental health reporting.
    • Provide administrative support for cyclical processes such as check-in conversations, remuneration reviews, and talent management.
    • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives including index submissions, reporting, and management of our senior parental leave program.
    • Collaborate with the wider People and Development team nationally to ensure consistent support across the firm.
    • Aid in reporting tasks for all P&D team members.
    • Maintain procedure documents in alignment with new processes and legislation.
    • Apply professional knowledge and judgment to manage queries, ensuring appropriate escalation and support.
    • Contribute to People and Development projects as opportunities arise.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline (advantageous).
    • Experience in a Human Resource Coordinator or Administrator position (advantageous).
    • Strong customer service mindset.
    • Excellent administration and organisational skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Excel and Microsoft Office suite skills.
    • Experience using a HRIS such as Workday (advantageous).
    • Proven abilities in developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Experience working within the legal or professional services industry (advantageous).

The P&D team provides strategic business partnering support to the business on P&D issues and driving & delivering a range of initiatives to ensure that Clayton Utz is a great place to work.
