About the Opportunity
The Legal Support Officer will provide administration support to a team of Solicitors within the Public Law section.

Working primarily within a digital environment, the Legal Support Officer is relied upon to contribute to the smooth running of the office by providing an effective admin and secretarial support service to solicitors, the Team Leader and the wider administrative support team as required.


About the Business
The Crown Solicitor's Office, through the Attorney-General, provides legal services to the South Australian Government.

The Public Law Section delivers legal services to Government Agencies across a broad range of public law litigious and non-litigious practice areas including administrative and constitutional law, State taxation, charitable trusts, child protection, regulatory prosecutions and other important priority areas of Government.


Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.

Forms are not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD.

Some out of hours work may be required.
