About the Opportunity


The Executive Assistant is responsible for providing highly effective, responsive and confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Office which contributes to the efficient operations of Consumer and Business Services.

Duties will incorporate maintaining records, scheduling appointments, answering telephone and general enquires, liaising with staff, the public and other services on matters related to the executive office.

Executive Assistant will also undertake minor projects and research as directed by the Executive and Project coordinator.


About the Business


Consumer and Business Services (CBS) employs around 200 staff and our primary purpose is to facilitate business, protect consumers and record life events.

CBS currently comprises eight branches, with two points of executive oversight.

CBS constitutes a large part of South Australia's business/consumer regulatory system and is the regulator for many businesses and professions.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be provided further information if an interview is requested.
