    ANZ Project Delivery Leader

    Reporting to the Director, Project Management Practices, you will ensure best-in-class project delivery for the ANZ region. This will involve leading and supporting deployment and effective implementation of Stantec corporate and business-line specific project management practices. Key outcomes are to maximise long term profitability of the ANZ region, driving growth in the commercial acumen and delivery capability of our project delivery teams. The overall objective is to ensure consistency and efficiencies bring better outcomes for Project Managers and Stantec's delivery of projects to our clients. In this particular role, we are looking for an experienced project practitioner with well-developed training creation and delivery skills. The ability to use our existing content and tailor to our specific business lines.

    Key elements of the role:

    • Ensure consistent application across ANZ of the Stantec Project Management Framework (PMF) policies and processes, ensuring compliance to both our internal and external controls, including SOX and working with business lines to ensure "the intent" of the PMF is met using best practices.
    • Development and delivery of training courses to compliment the already extensive training available, tailoring at the right level and working with our Project Delivery teams to train and coach.
    • Monitoring and maintaining the training progress of PM's within business lines, with the relevant Project Delivery teams, coaching and mentoring and identify emerging talent.
    • Help develop effective and efficient project delivery tools, assessing our current offerings as well as analyse and conduct surveillance audits and identify business gaps
    • Assimilate transformation of new business (acquisition) into the ANZ project delivery model and identify and adopt acquisition company's best practice to mould into Stantec.
    • Other accountabilities include project governance, strategy and metrics.

    About you:

    You will have a proven track record in providing high quality planning and project management expertise, commercial management and strategy development. We are looking for a well-developed training delivery and development skills to compliment the project management experience and skills.

    Extensive knowledge in the Project Management, Project Management Commercial Leader (Stantec) & Project Controls environment and tertiary qualification including PMI/PMP or equivalent is essential. You will be a confident communicator with proven stakeholder, consultation and negotiation skills. You will manage competing demands and deadlines, while maintaining an eye for detail and demonstrating excellent planning and report writing skills. Having a high level of discretion, you will influence and form trusted partnerships without direct control. You will need to be able to travel for training delivery.
