Your opportunity:


Our Service Delivery group have an exciting, permanent opportunity for an experienced
Program Leader - Capital Projects to join the team based in Fortitude Valley.


The Program Leader is accountable for the effective management of Minor Capital Projects and Civil Projects at Urban Utilities, ensuring the delivery of a broad range of business outcomes.

The role is accountable for delivering traditional program outcomes - time, cost, scope and risk - whilst also working with stakeholders to continuously improve the how projects are identified, planned and delivered.


Reporting directly to the Manager - Program Delivery within Field Services, the Program Leader will drive value by leading a multi-disciplinary program of work that delivers on business outcomes for a wide range of stakeholders.

About you:


  • Tertiary qualifications in program/project management or a related discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Experience in management and delivery of a works portfolio and transformation projects, within a large complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead commercial agreements with Delivery Partners (from high value/complexity to basic supplier contracts) to deliver business outcomes with a focus on continuous improvement, relationship management and sustainability.
  • Demonstrated superior stakeholder management and collaboration on business transformation activities, with strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a diverse team in a complex and dynamic environment, and passion for driving a constructive and highperformance culture within a leadership group and with direct reports.
  • Experience leading a service delivery function with significant interface with customer and community.
