Description

Nic Design Studio has extensive experience in providing master planning, architecture, interior design, and engineering services for commercial and residential projects of various scales. It strives to create new benchmarks in terms of innovation, design, and quality for these projects. Nic Design Studio has recently been awarded three new commercial design and construction projects, which requires recruiting an experienced project administrator.

The Role

You will report directly to the Managing Director and be accountable for supporting and assisting with project management-related tasks. Your role will entail preparing and maintaining QA documentation, updating project schedules, managing procurement and budget control, preparation and submission of claims, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, and managing all relevant documentation and information for the assigned design and construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

· Budget management for the assigned project.

· Manage the procurement of subcontractors and materials.

· Developing, reviewing and negotiating variations to contracts, programs, projects and services.

· Assessment of subcontractor and supplier progress claims.

· Manage the engagement with key external and internal stakeholders.

· Prepare and update monthly progress claims.

· Maintain project records in an organised manner.

· Assist the Architects and Engineering staff with any other project management related tasks as required.

The successful candidate will have:

· Tertiary education in business management and finance is essential.

· Proven experience in project assistant role.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
