The Administrative Project Officer is responsible for providing a range of complex and specialised administrative duties to support the work of the Director.

This role provides an efficient, responsive, and professional point of contact for internal and external clients and delivers a range of business activities, including the following:

  • Provide financial and project management support services, including taking confidential minutes, arranging venues and catering.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor file and document tracking, databases, and systems to ensure accuracy and secure storage and archiving of records, data, and documents.
  • Undertake HR administrative activities including coordinating, monitoring, and processing leave, ensuring accuracy of forms and database activities.

To be successful you will need:

  • Demonstrated well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Manage competing priorities with tight deadlines.
  • Experience coordinating and delivering efficient administrative support.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software and relevant Information Communication Technology.
  • Sound knowledge of Public Sector and departmental policies and procedures applied in the administration of programs.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and reports to provide advice to support decision making.

Qualifications:


Desirable:
An appropriate tertiary qualification.


Special Conditions:


The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration:


ASO3:
$65,606 - $69,919.
