- Support and encourage the growth of your direct Branch Network through implementing strategies to achieve these goals in both the loan and deposit portfolios
- Embed a sales & service culture throughout your region, ensuring all branch staff are focused on improving the consistency and quality of sales and service they provide
- Coordinate and manage staff through the administration and efficient operation of your allocated branches
- Collaborate with other stakeholders and high value customers to achieve the Bank's objectives
- Understand the capacity of each location and monitor the management of outbound calling programs
- Ensure all compliance and training is maintained for both yourself and your Team
- Determine any potential risks that might affect the organisation's financial success, reputation, safety & security, as well as protect the organisation from loss by exercising good judgement
- Maintain our commitment to quality and professionalism while proactively seeking out and making improvements to the Lending space through effective coaching
- Ensure adherence to Auswide Bank Policies and Guidelines are kept up to standard
- Demonstrated previous experience in the Retail Banking industry.
- Experience in leading and developing teams while modelling the professionalism required of a senior leader
- Exhibit a drive for continuous improvement and a strong business awareness
- Be highly motivated and possess the ability to evaluate and prioritise key tasks, and agility in managing multiple/conflicting deadlines
- Be able to seize any opportunity to network and represent Auswide Bank in a professional manner at events, in the community, with other staff and customers
- Contribute significant experience in stakeholder management, engagement and strategy development to the greater Customer Banking Team
- Produce a desire to grow and develop within Auswide Bank

About The Role
Overseeing our Branch Network from Gladstone to Townsville, you will motivate and influence our Northern QLD Branch Network to grow through successful coordination, training and implementation of sales and staff development plans with a focus on lifting capability.
You will also need to proactively look for ways to improve the business and implement the required actions to assist in your Team's desire to deliver exceptional customer service and products to our customers and drive the Auswide Bank Branch Network growth goals.
Reporting directly to the Chief Customer Officer, this is a challenging leadership role for a hands-on team focused financial sales professional.
As this role will require the ability to travel on a regular basis using a company branded job facility vehicle, previous experience leading teams that are geographically dispersed is highly regarded.
