ABOUT YOU

  • Working as part of the Education Support Services Team (ESS), this role will provide one to one support for a student in the primary years. Previous experience in working with children with intellectual disabilities in a school context is highly desirable.
  • As a Teachers' Assistant within Tudor House you will need to be able to demonstrate:
  • Administrative and organisational support for classroom teachers
  • Organising and collating resources
  • Assisting in the creation of classroom displays
  • Supporting the student with an individualised learning programs inside and outside of the classroom
  • Collaboratively work with classroom teachers and specialist teachers in supporting the learning program of the student
  • Assist in the implementation of appropriate behaviours of students inside and outside of the classroom.
