About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a full-time Production and Inventory Planner to maximise the achievement of inventory and customer service targets whilst taking into consideration plant production, logistics & warehousing and raw material availability.

This position is responsible for liaising with all stakeholders including production, customer service, supply chain and third party logistics.

More specifically, some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Produce routine production schedules that meet operational and commercial targets
  • Monitor and adjust programs based on changes to supply and demand
  • Maintain effective relationships and liaise multiple stakeholders to ensure raw material requirements, schedule requirements, and inventory targets are met
  • Liaise with Customer Service teams and logistics providers to resolve daytoday supply, transport and packaging issues are resolved as they arise
  • Support the S&OP Manager in the development and maintenance of a standardised S&OP process across Altona and Botany
  • Ensure that the business is conducted within the Company and Statutory Safety, Health and Environment requirements by demonstrating leadership with regards to SH&E
  • Have demonstrated experience in a Planner position where the principles of sales and operations planning are applied. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferable
  • Posses a high attention to detail, with an aptitude for analyzing data and generating reports with wellcommunicated insights
  • Be comfortable working autonomously, and is selfmotivated to achieve consistent results through regimented processes
  • Have an open and collaborative approach to working with other stakeholders, and the ability to contribute positively to a team environment
  • Have strong learning agility, particularly with adapting to new systems and processes, in addition to keen interest in process and continuous improvement
