Our client is a reputable private landlord with a fantastic opportunity for a Property Manager to join their team to manage an exciting property portfolio.

Their portfolio of assets owned and under management comprises commercial, industrial, development, and special-use assets across Melbourne. The Property Manager is responsible for managing several assets within the portfolio.

The role:

Be responsible for all aspects of property management including tenant liaison, lease administration and occupancy issues
Monitor financial transactions (rental remittance and outgoings)
Ensure all files of the property/portfolio are maintained
Maintain a current an accurate tenancy schedule
Build and maintain close liaison with the tenants and operational personnel with reference to a variety of requirements
Assist in the administration of all liaises to ensure compliance by owners and tenants
Ensure health and safety issues and requirements are met.
Ensure proper maintenance procedures for buildings, plant and equipment are observed and arrange service calls as necessary
Please some regular site travel is expected

What you'll need to succeed:

Preferably a property related qualification and proven experience in commercial/industrial property management
Experience within lease administration and renewal negotiations
A customer focused approach and the ability to effectively and proactively communicate with a variety of stakeholders
Excellent time management and organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects within tight time frames
Strong IT skills as well as intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages.
