    Endeavour's legal team operates in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Our close-knit team strives to build positive, constructive partnering relationships with a focus on providing proactive and pragmatic guidance to our business partners based on our deep understanding of our businesses.

    Our Paralegal will support the Endeavour legal team and a range of business stakeholders with a focus on Intellectual Property (IP) and Trademark issues as well as regulatory and contractual matters (with potential to support more broadly depending on experience). Professionalism, attention to detail, efficiency, desire to learn and grow, and proactivity are overarching attributes required in this role.

    Here's a snapshot of the Paralegal's responsibilities

    In this role you'll be responsible for the maintenance of Endeavour Group's extensive IP portfolio and other brand related assets (including trade marks, domain names and business names) and liaising with business partners about renewals and other maintenance requirements in addition to;

  • Legal research and prepare reports or summaries that are designed for the intended purpose and audience
  • Legal document preparation - preparing legal documents from letters and contracts to regulatory forms and court documents
  • Legal document management and register development
  • Monitoring and triaging Endeavour's legal inbox
  • Reviewing and approving relevant invoices
  • Providing timely support to Endeavour's Customer Hub team, in responding to customer queries or complaints from time to time
  • Assisting lawyers in responding to subpoenas
  • Continuous improvement - work with the lawyers to identify opportunities to improve processes and tools (including using available technology), develop and operationalise improvements in consultation with relevant business partners

    • Now let's talk about you

    Ideally you'll have at least 2 - 3 years Paralegal experience in a well regarded law firm or in-house legal team as well as;

  • Intellectual Property/Trademark administration experience (including conducting Intellectual Property (IP) clearances and processing filings with IP Australia and IPONZ);
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in full Microsoft and/or Google suite; willingness and capability to embrace new tech.
  • Experience in property, employment, liquor, gaming and/or AML/CTF compliance (ideal)
  • Strong legal research skills, report writing and slide presentation skills
  • Ability to analyse and understand a broad range of legal requirements/issues and apply them across the business, and support the business manage their legal requirements/issues
  • Ability to simplify the complex , strong attention to detail and time management skills
