    Description

    As a Financial Accountant, you will be part of the Accounting and Finance team, responsible for maintaining an efficient and effective accounting, finance, taxation and development project systems for development and non-trading entities within the Aoyuan Group and its associated entities.

    This role will need to be able to:

    • Produce efficient, effective, accurate relevant and timely reporting
    • Comply with all accounting, banking and tax obligations
    • Ensure timely and accurately invoice processing
    • Ensure data and system integrity and
    • Enhance and refine reporting systems as appropriate to meet business needs

    To be successful in this role, you should have a friendly and approachable personality, and be able to manage stakeholder expectations, whilst also being organised and having an eye for detail. Multitasking, problem solving, and stress management skills are essential for this position.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Bi-Monthly bank reconciliations/weekly Bank report to HQ
    • Full Accounts Payable and Receivables function
    • Month end Trial Balance and Balance sheet reconciliations
    • Month end work including revenue and expenses accruals, prepayments and journals
    • Monthly end project management report and PCG report
    • Credit Card Statements' reconciliations and their journals
    • Review of accounts receivables & payables entries, inter-company journals
    • Assist with month end reporting, Month End Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow
    • Monitor project Cashflow and forecasting cashflow requirements
    • Project settlement and cash collection management
    • Accurately maintain loan account.
    • Monthly Loan account Drawn Down monitor
    • Various reports and updates as per HQ requirement

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum 3-5 years' professional experience in a similar accounting role
    • Previous Property Development experience would be advantageous
    • Relevant tertiary education
    • Understanding of accounting processes, knowledge of AAS, IFRS will be advantageous
    • Proven attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to deal with key customers
    • Experience with MYOB and ERP system would be good
    • The ability to work autonomously or in a team environment
    • Good working Microsoft Excel knowledge including v-lookups, pivot tables would be advantageous
    • Mandarin or Cantonese speaking is a plus, but not essential
    • A team player
