- Ensuring hourly extrusion line runs to current settings and procedures
- Measuring products with company supplied and approved equipment
- Rectifying problems to ensure minimum downtime on machines
- Prior to commencement of start-up ensuring pre-start checklist is completed
- Ensuring product is inspected, tested as per quality procedures
- Performing size changes to ensure production targets are obtained and efficiency is improved
- Minimising scrap generation, ensure head/tooling is cleaned
- A high level of manual dexterity and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Demonstrated understanding of safe work practices, manual handling, and workplace procedures
- Knowledge of quality control requirements and specifications
- Ability to meet KPIs and performance expectations

About the Role
Opportunities currently exist for Extrusion Operators to join our local team in Coopers Plains, Queensland. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will work in a team and will be responsible for all the facets of extrusion operation across a rotating roster to support the pipe making extrusion process.
Please note, it is a requirement that all candidates are available to work both day and night shift, on a 7-day rotating roster.
