    Description

    We are urgently seeking experienced factory labourers for an immediate start to work with a highly reputable aluminum extrusion business based in Loganlea.

    Duties include:

    • Undertake Factory Labouring duties loading materials and operating punch hole equipment to slot aluminum.
    • Able to use power and hand tools.
    • Available to assist both packing and press area.
    • Keeping work area clean and tidy and ensuring adherence to all safe work procedures
    • Use of gantry crane when required to lift heavy loads.

    This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a highly reputable market leader:

    • This role will start as temporary labour hire (but permanent opportunities may present in the future).
    • Currently we roster both day and night shifts (availability is needed to work on both day and night shifts to meet business needs).
    • Up to 10-hour casual shifts (penalty rates apply on Saturday and overtime is paid when working over 38 hours per week)
    • Casual hourly rate on day shift is $29.04 and night shift is $33.40 (with overtime paid on top of this)

    To be considered for this work, you will need:

    • Previous labouring experience
    • Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
    • Team player with good work ethic, including reliability and punctual attendance.
    • Willingness to follow instructions and commitment to working safely.
    • Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
    • Appropriate work wear including steelcap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts.
    • Availability to commence asap at Loganlea.
