    Description

    Kilargo, part of the dormakaba group of companies, is the leading fire, acoustic and seal manufacturer in Australia and is based in Banyo, Brisbane.

    THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY

    In this role you will be required to work within the extrusion team operating machinery to produce high quality silicone gaskets, PVC extrusion/co-extrusion. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment for a division of one of Australia's leading access & security solutions companies.

    Key responsibilities will include:

  • Trained to operate all key extrusion and mixing machinery competently.
  • Trouble shoot and problem solve on the go, minimising waste.
  • Attention to detail – measuring and checking tolerances of made product to technical drawings.
  • Provide support as required to the Extrusion Manager.
  • Other special project/activities as required.

    • YOUR SKILLS

  • Very high attention to detail.
  • Ideally has previous experience in extrusion or in a polymer manufacturing role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow run condition sheets.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and document clearly work performed.
  • Good trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt and change when required.
