An exciting opportunity currently exists for an enthusiastic and highly experienced
Administration Team Leader to join our Division of Surgery, Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine, in a full-time position.

The role is currently fixed until 30th June 2024. Hours will be between Monday to Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.

The Team Leader will form part of the Surgery and Endoscopy Access, which is comprised of Administration and Nursing staff.

The focus of this office is to provide efficient and streamlined care for patients.

The successful incumbent will work to provide strong leadership to the Administration Team by:

  • Over-seeing daily operations, instilling a strong customer service approach.
  • Coordinating planned and unplanned leave, as well as providing leave coverage when needed.
  • Providing administration support to projects and managing administrative requirements for any external activity.
  • Assisting the Administration Manager to ensure effective management of Administration Team and operations of the service.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading an Administrative team in a healthcare environment or similar.
  • Indepth understanding of the Elective Surgery Access Policy and associated Waiting List Management strategies.

  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated high degree of professionalism.
  • Demonstrated systematic thinking and ability to juggle multiple tasks and issues simultaneously.
