_Are you an experienced Senior Project Engineer or seasoned Senior Design Manager who has a passion for high rise buildings in the multi-residential sector and enjoys being client-side coordinating with award winning architectural practices and external engineers?_

THE COMPANY
The company is one of Australia's largest and respected leading apartment developers. There are multiple large scale apartment projects currently in progress around Australia, with many new upcoming projects. The team consists of talented professionals chosen from some of the best architectural studios and engineering practices across Australia.

THE ROLE:

As a result of the multi-residential sector booming post-covid and the borders opening back up, they are looking for an experienced Engineering Design Manager who can bring their years of local construction experience of
high-rise buildings and manage the interface between external Engineers and Architects.

This role has now become available due to growth.

$180,000-$200,000k + super

TYPICAL DAY:

Manage delivery of design documentation from external consultants
Review consultants designs for code compliance and in accordance with companies' construction methods
Review scheme to find value engineering to minimise construction costs &/or program
Prepare, manage and review tenders for various subcontracts

REQUIREMENTS:

Tertiary qualifications in Engineering particularly structural
(ESSENTIAL):
8+ years as a Senior Project Engineer or Design Manager in Australia
(ESSENTIAL):
40+ storey buildings + high level of ETABS software + Precast + PT slab design
(ESSENTIAL):
Worked for a Developer or high-rise specialist
(HIGHLY PREFERRED):
Good attitude and enjoy problem project management
Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
(ESSENTIAL)
